About

My name is Matt Zen and I’m a Toronto based yoga instructor currently teaching at BeHot Yoga Toronto and Sweat and Tonic. I’ve been practicing yoga since 2019 and completed my 200 hour teaching training in Bali in July 2022. Specializing in vinyasa yoga, my teaching style focuses on strength, flexibility, and physical/mental awareness. 

I first took up yoga as a means of exercise and physical health, but what I’ve come to love about it is its grounding effect, offering time to slow down and process life as it happens. Since beginning to teach in October 2022, I’ve enjoyed becoming part of this community and sharing my practice with students and friends.
