
My name is Matt Zen and I’m a Toronto based yoga instructor currently teaching at BeHot Yoga Toronto. I’ve been practicing yoga since 2019 and completed my 200 hour teaching training in Bali in July 2022. Specializing in vinyasa yoga, my teaching style focuses on strength, flexibility, mobility, and mental wellbeing.
I first took up yoga as a means of exercise and physical health, but what I’ve come to love about it is the way it grounds me through challenges and everyday life, offering time to slow down and process. Since beginning to teach in October 2022, I’ve enjoyed getting to know my students, hearing their stories, and offering a space for others to practice and improve.
